So very cold
I am sad to announce that Nate has left our facility for other employment close to home. He will no longer be doing paranormal investigations at our facility anymore. He is a valuable member of Spook investigations and will be missed. Luckily, Jennifer M. volunteered to join the team. She wanted to learn about the paranormal and we welcomed her with open arms. Many have asked me what happened with the next investigation involving Jennifer Y. on 4A. Well this is how it went!! This investigation took place in the winter and maintenance decided it was time to cut off the heat to 4A since no one used the floor anymore. I want everyone to know that I never felt cold spots on that floor anymore because the temperature on 4A was quite cool now. Not cold enough to see your breath, but very cool! Jennifer M. attended the next investigation with Bob and I on 4A. While Bob and I were instructing her on how to use the EMF detector, we heard a strange knocking sound coming from one of the rooms down the hall. We did not hang around long because the noise we heard sounded like someone moving stuff around in that room. So we thought the activity might have been human and not paranormal. Later, when we listened to the tape of our brief investigation, we heard a strange laughing noise exactly like what was on the video tape in the spider webs post. The next day I decided it was time to send up Jennifer Y. Big Al was ready to go!! He had now overcome is fear of paranormal trash bags. What I now tell you is what I heard on the digital audio recorder and from what they saw and heard while on the floor. Jennifer Y. and Al were the only ones to make this investigation. I decided that I wanted as few people as possible on this venture. When they arrived on the floor it was very dark and cold. They also heard a knocking sound and it startled them because they had never heard it before! During the investigation they noticed that it was very windy outside and while in one of the rooms a window was rattling due to the wind. So they were able to debunk the knocking sound they heard previously. On the tape, I heard big Al say he was greatly relieved to find out that the noise was not paranormal and Jennifer stated that she believed that the window probably made the knocking sounds I had heard. Then to our surprise on the tape we heard a lady's voice say "I am cold....so very cold". I have to admit that this floor has paranormal activity on it, but I wonder about the other floors that are closed down. I also wonder if the paranormal activity is intelligent or risidual. We have had responses from what sounded like a man and a woman, but the laughter is hard to tell. My team has decided they want to check out the other floors before our facility shuts down permanently. We have always heard CCU was haunted so that is where we will go next!! Doc

Cold water
In the upcoming investigations, I thought I would put my theory to the test that more paranormal activity took place on 4A when a female was present. Bob, Nate, Al and myself ventured to 4A on numerous occasions as the all male investigative crew. We sometimes would get some weird EMF readings and an occasional cold spot, but nothing significant. For those that are new to this, EMF stands for electromagnetic field which is helpful in detecting an unseen presence. I also caught nothing on audio or video which was also disappointing. Well, actually I did catch one thing on video. I caught big Al getting the shock of his life. While investigating the room where we heard the whisper, Al opened the bathroom door only to have a trash bag tied to the door handle float up and hit him in the face. He jumped two feet in the air, passed gas and ran out of the room. I apologized to the ghost for Al's lack of bodily control and carried on with the investigation. I just knew I would have a cursing spirit on the video after all that. But sadly I did not, so I decided it was time to bring back Jennifer Y. to test my theory. When we arrived to the floor, Jennifer did not want to go back in the room where she felt the spider webs previously. She said she just felt uneasy! After we completed our investigation, we stood in the hallway outside the spider web room. Suddenly Jennifer said "did you all hear that? It sounded like water gurgling." None of us heard the noise nor did we find the source. When we replayed the video, to our surprise we caught something right before Jennifer stating "did you all hear that?" It was a man's voice softly saying "the water is cold." The next day if Jennifer was willing, I was going to send her up again. I will tell you about our findings later. Doc

Spider webs
After several uneventful investigations on 4A, I decided it was time to try something new. Two of my co-workers, Jennifer Y. and Kelley D., were wanting to investigate 4A after hearing the voice on the video. Kelley was the first to investigate with our team. While walking thru one of the rooms, Kelley started to complain of nausea and headache. When she left the room, she said she felt better. She experienced no problems throughout the investigation until we returned to that same room. Kelley said that she felt like she was walking thru spider webs even though there were no spider webs present. Later while reviewing the video, I noticed that she was third in line out of five to enter that room. A few minutes later, Kelley left the investigation stating she felt sick and uncomfortable. Wondering why none of the men on the team were experiencing spider webs or sickness, I decided to bring up Jennifer Y. to see if maybe the same thing would happen to her. By the way, I did not tell her what Kelley had experienced. We went straight to that room to see what would happen. After being in the room for only a few minutes, Jennifer said she felt like she was walking thru spider webs and started complaining of a headache. We investigated some of the other rooms, but they seemed rather quiet. However, Jennifer's headache continued on for a couple of hours even after we had left the floor. When we reviewed the video tape of Jennifer's experience in the room, we noticed a mist float by her as well as a strange laughing noise. Neither of which was noticed by the team during the investigation. Oddly enough, the room we first heard the voice in was on the opposite end of the floor were the ladies felt the spider webs. This floor has over 30 rooms on it and I plan to spend time in each. I believe that the room with the paranormal spider webs has a connection to the female investigators. I will test this theory out again with follow up investigations. Doc
